Materials

Materials matter less in quantity than in forming a loop: read, practise, err, revisit.

Four kinds

Set texts, past papers, your own notes, and a mistake list. The first two can be bought; the last two only you can write.

  • Use the edition named in this year's notice
  • Work past papers by year, not by chapter
  • Notes record only what you did not know
  • Update the mistake list weekly

How to use them

After each chapter, close the book and do five questions. Mark the misses in the chapter. The second pass reads only the marks — roughly twice as fast.

Reading lists follow the institution's current announcement.
